The product
LongTable is a private community app for verified alumni of premier institutions, currently in development for iOS. It is built around a simple observation: the moments when an alumni network matters most are practical, real-world ones — moving to a new city and needing a flat or a flatmate, selling something you'd rather hand to a person you can trust, finding people from your institute nearby, or organising a meetup.
Open platforms handle these needs among strangers. LongTable handles them inside a verified network. Every member's alumni status is checked before they can participate in the community, so listings, events, messages, and introductions all happen between people who share a verified background.
Inside the app, members can use alumni-only housing and flatmate listings, member-hosted events and meetups, alumni communities with discussion forums, a searchable member directory, a community marketplace, and private messaging — with privacy controls, blocking, reporting, and moderation throughout.
LongTable is currently in development and not yet available on the App Store. This site will be updated when the app launches.
